Baudó Ap – Una parte por millón

Web

One part per million is the first interactive map that
shows the social and cultural consequences that the use brings
indiscriminate use of mercury in gold mining. Amazon,
Chocó, Antioquia and Bolívar are the departments
where the highest levels of mercury have been evidenced in Colombia.

An interdisciplinary team of 16 professionals carries out this coverage
journalistic, leaving a tool of knowledge as a memory of the
trace of mining in the country and the destruction it has left in our
water sources, as well as the health of Afro, indigenous and
mestizas irreversibly.
